E.g ntl, t-mobile from uk. This would have put mauritian surfers on a better track. For e.g I live in the vicinity of grand-bay and requested My-t tv but unfortunately attenuation was not good due to old cabling systems. unless mass people request TV, they won't change their cabling systems :( and people outside mauritius benefit from > 135 kbps Well, personally I think Mt should have been affiliated with other companies which provide better services than orange. SAFE is completely over-whelmed during peak hours, with only 5Gbps available for public use! Prices won't decrease nor will the speeds increase significantly until more fibre optic links are connected with Mauritius... & that's still a few years away... :( As i’ve already posted a few months ago, we are running out of bandwidth in Mauritius.
