Sadly enough, shyness is a huge issue. Also, technobabbling though a huge turn-off, can be a turn on to girls. Understanding jokes is also an issue (aside from getting understood which is weird.) - I remember not being able to laugh at a joke (which I didn't find funny because it was not IMO) about Superman wearing his underwear on top of this clothes. Any DC fan knows that the costume was designed by Martha Kent to be in such a way, and not intentionally. There was no reason to joke about the costume. Of course, I was viewed as a 'weirdo' by the 'laughing' crowd. To be honest, I'm a pariah in society (but not at work.) Yes, I'm a geek. P.S Watch the movie - Revenge of the Nerds. It's awesome. You should be more self-aware, selfish, know how to 'attack' others in the most subtle ways, be shy (or be egocentric) and be mysterious. Geeks also piss off a lot of normals. Manga is one thing but DC and Marvel (mostly DC) should be hallowed in geekdom. You should be more self-aware, selfish, know how to ‘attack’ others in the most subtle ways, be shy (or be egocentric) and be mysterious. Geeks also piss off a lot of normals.
